Katlin Carey - President
Katlin Carey is a Fire Prevention Specialist II with Truckee Fire Protection District, where she focuses on fire risk reduction, defensible space, and community risk mitigation. Her work centers on inspections, public education, and helping residents implement practical, effective strategies to protect lives and property.
Prior to her current role, Katlin served as the Code Compliance Manager for the City of Camarillo and is the currently the President of the ICC Ventura Region Chapter. She holds certifications as a California Code Enforcement Officer and Code Officer Safety Specialist, and brings a strong foundation in code enforcement, policy, and government affairs to her work in fire prevention.
Katlin is passionate about the intersection of building safety, wildfire resilience, and community planning. She values collaboration across disciplines and is committed to advancing safety through education, enforcement, and strong professional partnerships. She looks forward to connecting with others through ICC and continuing to support safe, resilient communities.
