Scholarship Information

As part of our commitment to supporting the next generation of building safety professionals, the ICC Ventura Regional Chapter awards two educational scholarships each year to students pursuing studies in building safety, construction, engineering, architecture, fire science, code enforcement, or other related fields.

Our goal is to encourage and inspire students who are working toward careers that promote safe, sustainable, and resilient communities.

Eligibility

To be considered, applicants must:

• Be currently enrolled at an accredited college, university, or trade/technical school; OR be a high school senior planning to enroll at such institution.

• Be pursuing a degree or certificate in a field related to building safety (such as construction management, engineering, architecture, fire science, or code compliance).

• Demonstrate academic achievement and an interest in public safety and community service.

Scholarship Awards

• Two scholarships will be awarded annually.

• Each scholarship includes a $500 monetary award. 

Additional Information

• The deadline for applying is December 31, 2025. Upon review of the submitted letters, the board will then select top candidates. The selected candidates will be announced in early January 2026.

• Recipients and two guests will also be invited to attend the Annual Business Meeting February 2026 for recognition and networking opportunities.
